Migration to Australia

Australia has an excellent and very successful skilled migration program. Australia is one of the world's most urbanized societies, with nearly 90% of the population lives in the cities along the coast.

Education Overseas Academy, in association with Venkateswaran Palat Krishnan, Registered Migration Agent 0530932, accepts instruction on consultancy on success structured basis for acting on behalf of individuals, families and organizations seeking to establish themselves either permanently or temporarily in Australia.

Independent Skilled Permanent Resident Visa:

The Skilled Independent Migration - is aimed to attract highly skilled and employable migrants to Australia, to contribute to the Australian economy. The Skilled Migration stream, primarily consists of - an assessment of the candidate's level of skills in the nominated occupation, basic requirements and pass the 'Points Test'.

For General Skilled Migration to Australia, the candidate (or spouse) must be able to satisfy ALL of the following requirements:

1. Age:

 Must be under 45 years.

2. English Requirement:

Must have a generally effective command of the language. You should be 'Native English Speaker' OR have a band score of at least 6 (from a maximum of 9) for ALL 4 components (speaking, reading, listening and writing) of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test.

Some with 5 bands could apply, while others may need even 7 bands.

3. Qualification:

Must have qualification (such as Trade Certificate OR Degree etc.,) and experience which meets the relevant Australian Standards, which must be assessed before applying.

4. Occupation:

Must nominate an occupation which fits the educational / trade qualification and skill. The nominated occupation must be on the skilled occupation list (SOL). If nominated skill in not on the list (SOL), cannot apply.

5. Recent Work Experience:

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have been employed in an occupation on the Skilled Occupation List for at least 12 of the last 24 months.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they :

a.

Met the two year study requirement in the last 6 months; and

b.

their studies were closely related to their nominated occupation.

Before visa can be granted, the applicant and all persons included in application must also produce police clearance certificate and complete health check up.
